One of Our Aircraft is Missing (1942)

Godfrey Tearle, Eric Portman, Pamela Brown, Peter Ustinov.
Produced, written and directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger.

World War II war-drama! An attack across the English Channel on Stuttgart speels disaster for six airplane crew members. On the return flight, they are forced to bail out under heavy anti-aircraft artillery, winding up stranded in German-occupied Holland. Aided by some Dutch children and an underground network, they avoid a German patrol and are able to reach the coast and return to Britain. Excellent performances highlight this war-time drama.
