[As they pass Wickhambreaux Mill in the horse-drawn cart]

Bob: Great piece of weatherboarding, those watermills. I must ask the old gentleman who built it. I'll bet it was a Horton.

Alison: How did you manage to get round Mr Horton in that way?

Bob: We speak the same language.

Alison: I'm English! I don't speak their language!

Bob: He knows about wood, see, and so do I.

Alison: So that's it.
